At Charitable Realty, the Broker & Agents donate 10% of total commission when receiving full commission* to the charity of your choice, in your name, at the time of closing.
Donations are made at the close of escrow through a reduction in Charitable Realty Agent commission. All donations are made at the clients’ discretion to a registered 501c3 charity, and in no way imply or constitute a relationship between Charitable Realty Agents and any partner organization. The Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA) requires all donations to be voluntary and that no finders or referral fee will be paid to any organization.
These donations are recorded in your name and in no way benefit the sales agent.
*If a client is not working directly with a Charitable Realty Agent, either through a referral from Veterans United Realty, a Relocation Company, or other referral service, then the donation will not occur as 25% - 50% of the commission is already reduced. If a client has asked for a limited service listing or reduction in commission in order to negotiate terms, then the donation will not occur as a reduction in commission has already taken place.
